Each year, millions of people enter into an addiction treatment center. Unfortunately, in many cases, members of the addiction treatment community do not communicate with each other. This lack of communication can lead to lesser quality treatment. However, Southworth Associates has created our International Treatment Center Co-Operative event for members of our community to work together and learn from each other. We offer two events on opposite sides of the country to ensure that each treatment center can get involved, no matter the location. What is the International Treatment Center’s Cooperative Conference?
The International Treatment Center’s Cooperative Conference (ITCC) is also commonly referred to as Vero Beach, which is a reference to the conference’s founding location in Vero Beach, Florida. Originally founded in the late ’90s, ITCC quickly gained notoriety for bringing the countries best providers together, in a spirit of collaboration. Due to popular demand, we have expanded to include new locations. ITCC West Coast, hosted in Huntington Beach, is held each February.
ITCC is a deliberately small and intimate conference where treatment centers, interventionists, and others can network with each other in a fun and relaxing environment. Unlike many traditional conferences, ITCC requires that a treatment center clinician or executive attend, as opposed to only a marketer. Participants come away from the conference as collaborators, having a much better understanding of what everyone has to offer in order to make better and more informed client referrals within the treatment center industry.
ITCC Clarifications
We offer four different time slots for the event. Everyone except for individuals in the 5-minute time slot can bring two attendees from their facility. If a treatment center elects to send only one representative, the cost remains the same. If a company is not an individual or a treatment center, they need to sign up for either the 15 or 20-minute time slots. We also offer our 15 and 20-minute time slots to any treatment centers that would like more time to present. The presentation order is chosen at random at the event, and all attendees are required to remain for the entire duration. Our costs are as follows:
- 5-minute time slot: $900 (1 Individual: Interventionists and Private Practice Practitioners only)
- 10-minute time slot: $2,000 (2 individuals from treatment centers)
- 15-minute time slot: $2,500 (2 individuals from treatment centers, drug testing agencies, EMRs, or marketing companies)
- 20-minute time slot: $3,000 (2 individuals from treatment centers, drug testing agencies, EMRs, or marketing companies)
